With success comes a level of sadness. You think, ‘I’ll reach this goal, and then I’ll feel a sense of completeness, of wholeness. I’ll feel that I have accomplished something. I will see myself as a worthy man.’ And it doesn’t really exist.

OH, East is East, and West is West, and never the twain shall meet,
Till Earth and Sky stand presently at God’s great Judgment Seat;
But there is neither East nor West, Border, nor Breed, nor Birth,
When two strong men stand face to face, tho’ they come from the ends of the earth!
Death, monsters, blood, insanity-it’s not always about evil. It can often times be about creativity, love, imagination, & yes…still insanity.
You know what I really wish people would raise? Awareness. I’m talkin’ suuuuper high up there. Higher. Higher. Okay—perfect. Thanks.
Here are the two states in which you may exist: person who writes, or person who does not. If you write: you are a writer. If you do not write: you are not. Aspiring is a meaningless null state that romanticizes Not Writing. It’s as ludicrous as saying, “I aspire to pick up that piece of paper that fell on the floor.” Either pick it up or don’t. I don’t want to hear about how your diaper’s full. Take it off or stop talking about it.
Inside, we are ageless and when we talk to ourselves, it’s the same age of the person we were talking to when we were little. It’s the body that is changing around that ageless centre.
LET’S COUNT UP THE NUMBER OF BRAIN CELLS ACROSS EVERY LIVING THING WORLDWIDE DEDICATED TO FACEBOOK. THEN LET’S SLICE THEM OUT, CREATE A FACEBOOK BRAIN AND IGNORE WHAT IT SAYS FOREVER
A genuine work of art must mean many things; the truer its art, the more things it will mean. If my drawing, on the other hand, is so far from being a work of art that it needs THIS IS A HORSE written under it, what can it matter that neither you nor your child should know what it means? It is there not so much to convey a meaning as to wake a meaning. — But a man may then imagine in your work what he pleases, what you never meant! — Not what he pleases, but what he can. If he be not a true man, he will draw evil out of the best; we need not mind how he treats any work of art! If he be a true man, he will imagine true things; what matter whether I meant them or not?

And this one’s better…
Alas! how easily things go wrong!
A sigh too deep or a kiss too long,
And then comes a mist and a weeping rain,
And life is never the same again.

If there was a Lit crush box, he’d be right up by the heart for me. =P
There used to be a time when you could be sure of catching old boots, cans, hat racks, boxes. Now it’s prawns all the bloody time.
