Goulash

I’ve got like six snippets between five and eight lines long floating in my scrap document from this weekend. My critical side says none of them maintain a thought long enough for posting.

I don’t mind posting haikus or something ten to twelve lines long, but something about those middle lengths really bugs me.

Close-pressed, parading lips pretend petulance.

Identity – Part 2 (or Quantum Fandom)

The Purple Rhino mentioned the possibility of doing a series based on the poem he reviewed a couple days ago. I’m not sure if this lives up to his review, but, in looking for inspiration, it seemed as good of an idea as any.

So Ron’s selected
twins to
pare her
uncertain.
Left handsoap
the right way
to steer her
insane.
They follow
the hollows
of hills in the
chasms,
and question
her questing
till queries
seem lame.

To Go Barista

An enthused clasp
unyielding,
lips press to
espresso.
Forgotten, she
rots in her
hazelnut thoughts.

Identity

She rounds out her
substance
with teasing points
posing,
assaulting all
askance
for labors of
lust.

Elect Rons walk
wire hoops,
Their frantic feet
scribe songs,
and ravening teeth
carve
The shape of her
Myth.

perplexing

Writing anything with music pulls at my subconscious.

Even reports or grants. I start writing with stresses in rhythm… even start rhyming at times.
